DESCRIPTION:Presented by Leanna Fox – Speech Pathologist\nJoin our latest SPOT on DD event with Speech Therapist Leanna Fox talking about alternate ways to access AAC (Augmentitive and Alternative communication). \nPlease note\, you must be a member of SPOT on DD to attend this event\, please join at spotondd.org.au \nThese include: \n\nSwitch access using core scanner files\, language files developed by an OT to be more accessible for switch scanners.\nHead pointing\nEye gaze access – how to set up and also some files created specifically to help develop language and access skills.\nComputer access – internal social media access\, sending emails etc.\nPhone connectivity – sending texts from your device\n\nThere will be devices available on the night for further hands on experience. \nIf you can’t make it in person don’t fret\, Zoom in via webinar. \nAfter the presentation feel free to stick around to network\, mingle and ask questions. \n \n
