SUMMARY:Webinar: Adding value to your NDIS service with allied health students
DESCRIPTION:This event is free for SPOT on DD members. Not a member yet? Join us here. \nThe NDIS has brought about significant changes in the past few years\, and the inclusion of allied health students has fallen on the back burner for some services. This webinar will present recently completed research into the way students can be included in NDIS services and the added value that this brings. \nProfessor Sue McAllister and Dr Robyn Johnson from the University of Sydney\, along with Associate Professor Chris Brebner from Flinders University\, will provide an overview of their research and answer your questions about how to include students in your NDIS service. \nThe following links are to websites that host materials generated by these research projects which you might like to check out before the webinar to help generate some questions: \nhttp://futureallies.com.au/ \nA website with resources about allied health student placements in an NDIS context. This project was a collaboration between the University of Sydney\, Monash University\, Flinders University and Curtin University. \nhttps://www.openlearning.com/courses/ndis/homepage \nAn open learning website\, Building the Allied Health Workforce for an NDIS Future\, from Flinders University that hosts materials generated from their research on allied health students in the NDIS> \n
